TORA DOJO

LONDON

We are a friendly, social kendo club welcoming all ages and levels.

We accept new joiners year-round at any time and can ensure that an instructor is available to teach you whenever you arrive. Just come in with loose and comfortable training clothes for your first session.

Children and adult classes start at the same time on Saturdays.

Everyone here is so warm, friendly, and patient :) I had been worried about joining a dojo after moving to a new city, and I am so grateful that the wonderful people here made the transition so natural and lovely.

What is Kendo?

Kendo is a form of Traditional East Asian fencing that typically uses body armour and bamboo swords. Widely practised in Japan and Korea it is a highly popular martial art that is enjoyed by school children, university students, professional athletes, and amateur adults.
