Why Tora

We are a friendly, social kendo club welcoming all ages.

We have about 30 active members practicing regularly. We're an extremely multicultural bunch, regularly participating in national and international competitions or seminars. Several of our members are or have been in their respective country national teams.

We are fully registered with the British Kendo Association.

Tora Dojo is a uniquely special place for practicing Kendo at all levels in London. The friendship and mutual support between the group members is incredible, and it shows through the quality of the practice.

Everyone here is so warm, friendly, and patient :) I had been worried about joining a dojo after moving to a new city, and I am so grateful that the wonderful people here made the transition so natural and lovely.
